RFY Co-Founder

Danny Murphy is President of D.P. Murphy Inc., a PEI based hotel and Restaurant Company. Always enjoying some sort of physical activity, he found yoga in 2008. Seeing the benefits that a regular yoga practice provided, he completed the Modo Yoga Teacher Training in Montreal in October 2018. Yoga along with his Transcendental Meditation practice, since 2014, and early morning sun salutation have made a real difference and has helped him manage his stress and other challenges that life brings. At this time in his life, now that he has less work and family responsibilities, he feels passionate about sharing these mindfulness tools with others and hopes that they might see the benefits in their daily lives as well. This passion has led him to found “Retreats for You”.

They say that which doesn’t kill you only makes you stronger. Mindfulness coach Greg Klym definitely believes this to be true. After facing a string of health-related issues in 2008 he started down a path to healing, wellbeing and self-discovery through the practice of mindfulness. The daily practice of meditation and yoga completely changed the trajectory of his life and this is why he chose to shift from the corporate world in 2012 to start his own coaching business. A lifelong coach at heart and in profession, Greg has a passion for supporting and guiding clients with mindfulness-based practices for greater health and wellbeing, personal growth, performance and production in the workplace, on the playing field, and much more. Mindfulness practice can truly bring meaningful and sustainable change into one’s life and Greg absolutely loves to help his clients achieve this.

Mindfulness Coach

With years of experience both as a student and a teacher, I’ve developed a great passion for yoga and it’s ability to enhance our journey of health and happiness.

As a lover of learning, my teaching comes from a researched and studied place that I love sharing. A lot of my teaching comes from training with Yoga Medicine that believes in combining all the modalities of one’s health and the meshing of Eastern and Western yoga to offer the student the best shot at well-being.

The purpose of my teaching is ultimately about providing a space where you can feel safe and supported to explore with your own experience to help you move mindfully, efficiently and sustainably through life.

I would be honoured and humbled to share it with you.

After serving 21 years in the Canadian Armed Forces and deploying on three missions including two to Kandahar, Afghanistan, Melissa was medically released in 2018. She was diagnosed with severe Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) in 2012 and has been battling her illness ever since. She completed a Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Psychology at the Royal Military College of Canada and developed a passion for resilience research. She wanted to help people strengthen their minds by increasing their resiliency. Living with PTSD has been extremely challenging but her devotion towards her recovery has motivated her to keep fighting. Thanks to the help of those who supported her, she learned how to liberate herself from her past through acceptance and vulnerability. For this next chapter of her life, she is dedicating her time to help others by providing resilience and wellness coaching. As Melissa often says, it is through empathy, compassion and caring for others that we can achieve the greatest level of healing.
